This policy applies to all users of scoremybiz.com and any ScoreMyBiz application.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
We process your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India) on the basis of your consent (given at registration) and for legitimate interests (product improvement, security). You may withdraw consent at any time.
We do not share your data with any other third party.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data (used for benchmarks) may be retained longer.
Free accounts with no activity for 24 months are deleted, after a 90-day warning by WhatsApp or email. Paid accounts keep their data while subscribed and for 12 months after. Photos you send for reading (daily sheets, receipts, notebooks) are not stored — we read the numbers and discard the image. Shop photos you upload yourself (for your business card or listing) are stored until you remove them or delete your account.
You can download everything we hold about you at any time from the app's Account screen ("Download my data"), and delete it all from the same screen ("Delete my account").
We count page visits ourselves, without cookies and without any outside tracking company: the page opened, the site you came from, your language and any campaign tag in the link. No name, phone number or IP address is kept with those counts, and browsers set to Do Not Track are not counted.
To exercise any right, email support@scoremybiz.com with subject "Data Request". We respond within 72 hours.
Email support@scoremybiz.com with subject "Delete My Data". We will permanently delete your account, scores, and personal data within 30 days and send you a confirmation.
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, in any of three ways:
Deletion is permanent. It removes your scores, ledger, daily entries, invoices, tasks, goals, notifications and network posts within 24 hours, and signs you out everywhere.
Anonymised, aggregated figures that have already been used in industry benchmarks cannot be traced back to you and therefore cannot be recovered or removed.
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed. Financial inputs are processed in-browser and transmitted only over secure connections. We conduct periodic security reviews.
We use essential cookies for session management and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) for usage statistics. You may decline analytics cookies via the cookie banner on first visit.
ScoreMyBiz is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us at support@scoremybiz.com.
We will notify you by WhatsApp or email at least 7 days before making material changes to this policy.
